Shill bidding. Damn.
got it in one! its in ebays best interest for the auction to end on the highest value possible because they get a cut of the final value from ebay and enforce you use paypal which insures they get a cut of the P&P people jack up to cover there ebay fees.Koa Zo wrote:because then people wouldn't be able to inflate bids, and eBay would not be able to collect more $$$ for final value fees.ZOM wrote:Anyway what I don't understand is why eBay is so retarded to not simply
delete all bids from a user who retracted it's last bid.
there's a lot of extras they try to spoon feed you which cost more. namely under titles which are the biggest waste of time in the world and cost a lot since what ever you type there does not come up in searches. also adding more than one picture via the ebay system is shit and expensive too. your better off taking the time to host the pics on a photo bucket or something like that and then posting them in your listing ebay let you do that too its not against there rules.
kinda off subject. I got my cash back from a haloween costume which i ordred on the 1st of October today. two months and 12 days it took. paypal did nothing to help it would say that they would contact me by X day and then X date would pass and then it would magicaly add another 15 days to the counter

Both paypal and ebay are a fucking joke and encourage ilegal activities. It needs an outside body to modirate them (fuck there big enough)
as soon as the banks offer me a deicent deal I will no longer be taking paypal transactions and people can pay me via there credit card. I may have to keep it for buying

I dont get why the banks dont have some sort of paypal system themselves like a Visa card without the card. everyone can take payment everyone can send money. its crazy to think i can access my bank account from any pc with a net connection in the world but if i want to buy something from someone whos not a shop I have to use something like paypal

paypal is easy. why cant the bank do it? Theres profit to be made!

Now- here's a better question. I won this arcade (KI) and a machine from this guys friend (he spoke of him on the phone). I have yet to get either of them to send me a single eBay message- though I've sent each one at least 5 messages per. I've requested contact information and whatnot- but I have a funny feeling they could both leave NPB's if they want to. I'm not sure how to approach that- anybody had anything similar happen yet?
