Well that was fucking amazing! Porno for shmup fans really, with all those obsqure console and game references... Amazingly presented too! I want to just be able to jump to that end sequence and have a go!
So Segagaga isn't a shmup till the end? If so, if I were playing it all the way through as a gamer with little experience of shmups, it would feel a bit of a cock to the face to realise I had to overcome that to complete the game...

That was so awesome! When the Genesis + Sega CD + 32X linked together Voltron-style I was busting a gut.
There are some downloadable saves on GameFAQs with "all minigames completed." I don't know if that'll bring you to the shooter sequence or not.spadgy wrote:So Segagaga isn't a shmup till the end? I would not be surprised in the least if Tecno Soft actually DID do the ending of Segagaga.Koa Zo wrote:Yeah, that seemed very ThunderForce-ish - besides the obvious music, the animations and paterns seemed very similar to Thunder Force V.extrarice wrote: Reminds me of the FFVI final battle parody where all the caracters are different consoles.
RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!!!!
It's definitely from Thunderforce VI. Track 15 from this CD .. http://www.vgmworld.com/catalog/index.p ... em_num=457JoshF wrote:I remember Yakumo saying there were some things taken from Thunderforce VI, maybe it's just the soundtrack,

Saw this years ago. Eh, sensory overload. Eyes watering (again) due to realization of Sega's complete incompetence managing their awesome IP; that's basically half the emotional impact of the thing, at least

it does - with an "All Clear - save" you can access the "shooter-minigame" from the main-menu:Mortificator wrote:There are some downloadable saves on GameFAQs with "all minigames completed." I don't know if that'll bring you to the shooter sequence or not.
1. choose the bottom-row (the fifth) in the main menu and confirm with "A"
2. in the next menu highlight "01 GO! ******" ---> press "A" twice
3. in the following menu select "R-720 with S" and off you go

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
