I was wondering if they tightened up the controls any? I played part 3 of the last batch of games, and I felt that it was a little loose.
Also, does this bore you to death with cinemas?
Thanks.

I'm not a PoP expert, but the controls for this one feel just slightly loose to my fingers...that said, it often doesn't matter, because everything from jumping to wall-running is just about hitting the A button at the right time, it's very simplified and forgiving. In fact, my biggest issue with the controls is hitting a button one time too many and ending up jumping when I didn't mean to. You aren't likely to die due to the controls, but that's more a result of the simplified design then the tightness of the interface.
There are a handful of cinemas, but they're pretty short for the most part. And as you might have heard, you can stop and talk to your partner to get more background info and whatnot, but it's optional.

I liked Prince of Persia 2 better than the original simply because it was slightly more varied. However, those skulls or birds (can't remember what they were) sucked.

SiKrAiKeN: While I don't think everyone here -is- a Ninja Turtle, I DO believe everyone here has the potential to be a Ninja Turtle. No doubt.
Played the new one for about three hours now (PS3 version.)
It's acrobatics made easy as usual, only this time it's even more elaborate, including upside down wall runs and some good use of that claw grip thing he has.
It's all very fluid, although at times it feels like a series of sequenced button presses that you somehow feel quite detached from. This wasn't quite as pronounced in the previous games - but you get used to it.
It's a lot of fun, but it's slightly dumbed down in that its almost impossible to die (just try jumping off a ledge and see what happens.)
The best thing about it is the use of the second character, and utilising her while climbing and fighting enemies - it works very well.
I'm not too down with the fact that you need to collect a certain number of orbs to unlock areas later in the game though. It's like Sonic meets POP and feels like an unnecessary attempt to boost the lifespan.
Graphically, as expected, it's a knockout, but the heavy Americanisation of the Persian protagonist may not sit well with all (the dialogue sounds like its straight out of a Disney movie.)
