PCE Rondo of Blood - Crashed?! (EDIT - PCE dead.)

Post by Skykid »

Edit:

Actually, on further inspection, my PCE CD rom drive appears to have died.
:(

Perfect timing, and very weird. Must have been when it tried to load stage 6.

Crap.

Anyone know if these things are easy to fix, or should I chuck it and buy a new one?

I honestly can't say. But I can say go and grab Ootake (and find the System Card 3 ROM) to tide you over until you can either repair or replace it.

Thanks The Coop, I also understand there's a great PCE Emu for PSP?

I think I might go handheld to continue my Drac X quest.

new replacement drives can be found pretty easy.... well actually that was for duo rx. what are you using?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

There is a fairly decent Engine emulator for the PSP, but please don't ruin Dracula X by experiencing it first on a four inch screen with upscaled graphics and minor glitches. If any game deserves the big screen RGB treatment, it's Rondo. Come on guy, you've waited this long...

There's also Dracula X Chronicles, which has a few new bosses.

Er, weirdly enough, I put it back on again last night and it worked? It's a bit wierd, I think it must be on its way out though.

Absolutely amazing game though.
