Maybe in a few years when my hardware can handle it ..
If more 2D people would go to the 2D Gaming Forum, there would be more people to talk about 2D games with other 2D fans on the tootie gaming forum. It's 2Dlicious. For real yall

I have it. Good game, too bad my computer won't run the outside areas properly. Inside areas work fine. Kind of reminds me of Smash TV. The expert difficulty level makes the game awesome.

This thread is older but not all that long:

Anyway I play, love versus mode. I'm not playing too often though until I get myself a mic (christmas), because the game really requires one for maximum enjoyment.

I was wondering, is this just an online based game? Or there is a main campaign/story mode?

the main campaign is online.

you can play single player with AI controlled teammates but its not as fun.

somewhat. but dont expect it to be too deep. most of the time there a cut scene at the start which preps the flow of the game its about 8 seconds long and then you get another one at the end. with some cinema style credits. you will be disappointed if you play if offline exclusively but even just teaming up with four friends to do the campaign across a local network or even split screen it is like nothing else out there.

A mic is not necessary but its very very fucking useful.

Don't look at L4D for a storyline or a single-player style game. It's built specifically as a co-op team game. You and your friends create your own story that you can tell long after you finish a campaign.

you missed the point of my post obviously....there is actually a whole thread for showing off cabs

does me commenting on my cabs on a site where lots of people have cabs seem odd to you? my comment was aimed at those who enjoy 'oldschool' games...who also might scoff at next gen stuff as i usually do

i was illustrating a point....i usually have no interest in games that arent arcade games.....but this has zombies.....

first time something has come along that almost makes me want to get a 360

i asked about 360 because most of my friends have one, so to play on line it would make sense to get the same

why the hostility? i was simply asking about the game......jeez

Next Gen is great, old gen was great too but they don't make much of this type of games anymore. Though it's good to own an Xbox360 to play all the shmups.

Left 4 Dead is such a blast on multiplayer.

The final level of the first campaign, on the rooftop, my party and I could NOT figure out how to overcome the HUGE swarm, so we decided to all hang out in the stairwell, thinking the zombies couldn't get us. Sure enough, they break holes in each door, so we just proceed to SLAUGHTER them through the holes, laughing.

Not a minute later does a fucking tank come along and throw a BOULDER threw the door, taking all of us out for a second, and raping us. Good times.

I don't really like FPS games at all but I loved Dead Rising and co-op sounds fun. I just saw a video and it looks like something I would play. But uh, I really dislike the 360's controller and my PC most likely won't be able to run it. Still not sure what to do here.

There's a desperate lack of co-op FPS games out there (Gears of War might come close, but it still isn't classed as a FPS).

Great game,a lot of fun both in Campaign or Versus(playing as zombie is awesome despite limited actions).I have it on PC/Steam.Game runs nice on my 2 years old set up;you don't need a big thing to play this.If expert mode helps game extended play(without being frustrating),i really hope new maps, new zombies, new scripts...will be released fast or the game might get old fast.

Add me if you care Lockyfr
