Hitbox is too big, can't get past first wave... ^_^

Also, this is cool.
You can shoot stuff down when it's 150-300 miles away or so. So, the getting hit part isn't a big concern [until the enemy develops one of these...].

the shot itself would not have a colour

the future is rail guns, you could make them have a bright pink trail for sure

Or utilize some of those cool "curving" bullets from the Wanted action flick/comic booke series, machine-gun style. Nobody or nothing is safe from that type of ammo. ^_~
