Got to 5-2 and seem to have hit a wall obstructing any progress whatsoever... so 1CCing that is on hold... moving on to Homura which I've had in my posession for a little over a year now but never really got into.
Right now, Hellsinker. But I have to admit it's less "playing" and more "try to beat everything the game throws at me while I attempt to no avail to guess how the hell this game works".
Still on Raiden III Double Play, but when that game breaks my mind (every time I play it), I'm using Star Soldier (PS2) for a bit of single-ship relaxation...
Zero Gunner 2. First time playing, and already hooked.
Is it wrong that I like this more than Under Defeat? I think it's my inherent preference for Shmups with lots of things to pick up, the E icons in this case. Probably why I also recently took to Mars Matrix so well.

I'm in that boat as well, I haven't paid much attention to it.
You should give it a go. When I played it initially I didn't really give it much of a chance but now I'm enjoying the scoring system: mad dash for multiplyer and bullet swatting.
Everything has a subdued air, with the calm-ish music and floaty enemies and bullets but once you get to stage 3 and beyond it starts getting hectic (in my humble opinion ).
After having been sucked into LittleBigPlanet for quite awhile....... thus my abscence from here..... I am now playing the DS Ketsui, which is of course totally awesome.
Still playing Neverwinter Nights, and just found a way to get infinite exp...
There's an area in the game where hostile dwarves will spawn indefinitely. Just camp the spawn point, equip greater swordsman's belt (slashing resistance 20/-) and ring of regeneration (+2HP per round) and done...they can't kill you and you keep killing them indefinitely. I'm getting like 2000 exp PER HOUR!
Every single time, I get to stage 3, do really well up until the boss... and then I die HORRIBLY. Often time, I get nailed with 4 bombs at that point... I've gone through 5 runs, all of them the same.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.
I've been playing Gradius III (arcade) on PS2 for a few months now; I can now steadily reach level 7 but It turns to hell very quickly; I also play otomedius on X360.
I usually play Ikaruga on DC, but I got it on 360 and have been playing that along with Trigger Heart Exelica (through tated vga monitor). Just waiting for some RGB cables from Chaotic Jelly, and then I'll be playing ESPRade and Bakraid through the XRGB2+.
