For those who ordered this, what's on the bonus DVD?

There was a bonus DVD?
Of course, that's just an opinion.

NCSX wrote:In Illvelo, players shoot at enemies with standard shots but "dolls" may also be used to attack and protect the main ship. The wrinkle in Illvelo that makes it unique is the warp function where over 100 hidden stages may be visited for short jaunts where objectives are conquered and the player is rewarded. All orders for Illvelo will include a bonus DVD that was given away by the publisher in 1:1 ratio.

Well if it's a DVD it's probably a superplay.

Nah, i was more or less thinking about the Ketsui DS approach, buy it but pirate it while you wait for your mail.

Is this worth $50? I've been thinking of importing this because I'm not sure it's going to get a localization.

I've been having a look on UFO Interactive's site, and it looks like they're bringing this to North America. Check out this page which lists the games they're showing at E3. "Arcade Shooter: Ilvelo" is listed in the Wii section.

Heh, the 360 may be the "overall" shmup system this generation, but the Wii still manages to be a gadfly thanks to the Milestone support...and the fact that most every shmup on it seems to actually make it here. Hopefully this is confirmed soon, always glad to see more shooters (especially oddball ones like this) earn a trip across the Pacific.

Awesome! Can't wait for a confirmation and a release date (Although it will be delayed at least five times).

Awesome OST by Daisuke Nagata as always, the game itself is mediocre.
So don't expect too much.

I don't see them anywhere on the exhibitor list. Are they really gonna be there?

Check this interview about 3/4 of the way down - looks like Illvelo is indeed coming stateside.

I'll withhold comment regarding the game that's the main focus of the article though. :P

Good to see confirmation. Although if memory serves, Mr Ahn is the chap who allegedly said that Raiden IV was coming to XBLA back in 2007.

Oh great. Another Monkey King game. Hurrah.
Actually, I've seen the video on Starfish's site. It looks like just about the worst thing ever.

So...Rajirugi Noa, the new Milestone game, should be out in arcades now. Anybody know anything about this game? Anybody checking for it?

Wow, there's a cover that doesn't expect to be touched by human hands. Play Just 4 Fun. Category: boring old crap.

Plus I though Illvelo actually needed two l's to write correctly.

It's an impressive cover - definitely worth an entry into the conversation of worst one this gen. The real funny thing is somebody intentionally designed that & somebody actually approved the design! If you don't have the budget, why not just use a screenshot from the game as the cover shot? At least that would give people an idea of what the game is like. Suddenly that Japanese cover isn't looking so bad

The cover actually looks like something that would have come out on the ZX Spectrum in 1991. So I suppose they deserve full marks for the "Retro" thing.

It's quite possibly the worst video game cover since Metrocross, though

Ugh, and the "Play Just 4 Fun" only makes it worse. This is the "Sk8r Boi" of video game cover images.

Make sense in a way, considering it'll probably get described as a Raiden clone by the press.
