Yeah, considering Arika, which takes so much care in its shooter ports, couldn't even get SFEX down to where the public appreciated them (I dunno, I found them pretty good and traditional myself), you can imagine how well a US team might do. Then again, it would be a refreshing change. I'd look forward to it and decide once I've played it.

This game screams 'meh' for me, but if this doesn't work, there's always Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance, which Capcom is also making, which also looks more interesting.

The game is okay. I played it for about 5-10 minutes or so at E3 and it wasn't bad at all.

Capcom at least learns from its mistakes. Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4 are examples of this. (But not always.)
