i dont think its ugly at all....

my best friend as a kid was from brazil....you should have heard his mother when she was angry.....yikes
Oh, so that's why :P you're right, some of us (especially in the region I live) speak VERY fast. Add to that the fact that portuguese has too many rules and different words that mean the same thing and is just complicated as fuck, and the result is a nightmare of a language. lol

Oh, and I took no offense to your post. :)

Engrish. I don't really have a problem with the sound per se (although it sounds pretty fucking dumb), but when Japanese actors (especially those young hip movie stars Ryuhei Kitamura likes to put into his films... God I hate them) that clearly have no clue how to pronounce English try to sound cool and say all the meaningless stuff brainless Japanese script writers came up with.
What is it with the Japanese obsession for German, anyway? Does any of you remember when they had Asuka speak "German" on Evangelion? Fuck, if it hadn't been for the (German) subtitles I wouldn't have understood a single word.

I guess they still have a soft spot for Germany because of their WWII alliance. And that's good, I laughed at that Asuka scene too and dig names like Einhänder, Herzog Zwei etc.
Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.

Not sure if the WWII alliance is the real reason; maybe it's a blend of Japanese nationalism and a fascination for Germany's fascist past? I mean the Third Reich and the Japanese empire were extremely similar: both were racist as fuck, imperialist, had a leader cult, had concentration camps inluding Mengeles, etc.
Yeah, and the Japanese seem to love German shit in general, Goethe, medieval looking armour and shit.

I've always disliked the sound of French, myself. So many French people sound like they had a perpetual cold or something. You speak through the mouth, people, not through the nose :P.

Sorry but Danish. Can't stand it. Sometimes it's fun, though. But after a while it hurts your ears AND throat.
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...

Beatiful language, i don't know what your problem is. ;)

I like the sound of French if it's spoken fast and dirty.
