Short version:
I'm not sure if I'm coming up on the 22nd yet.

Long version:
The 22nd is the OSU/UM game and some old college friends are getting together to watch. I'm not sure if I want to go... I don't get to see those guys very often, but I can't stand watching football. The guy hosting it lives in Milan, so I'd be like halfway to Garden City already. I'll have to find out exactly what's going on and when.

Hm, I went both ways on a BC just a couple weeks ago. Maybe it's because I'm a US citizen.

Also to answer the Thunderforce 6 question, I know Robotron got it. He said it reminds him of 5.

Sorry for late replies:

I regret that I won't be at home the evening of of November 8th (this up coming Saturday) as we have a birthday party to attend all the way in Clarkston.

With regards for the 22nd. Right now the dining occasion I guess is still in pencil and is pretty open ended. Anyone and all are more than welcome should it get straighten out on times and such. Either way, we will gather for usual that evening…

With regard for TF VI, I am going to see if anyone want to sell used as many forum members are trash the game… I already know I'll be happy with it. People who expect some cave score fest are going to be dissapoint for sure… :?

might need a place to crash tho
For jonny5, you are always welcome as are the Toronto fellowship and anyone from Canada. We would love to expand the fellowship to international levels! Regarding supergun, I am not knowing what are requirements for connection to television? are they connect to television or is a monitor a requirement?
I have desire to get a cab at income tax time IF possible (along with Pink Sweets  )

anyways, sorry for late replies, I have been busy and off internets for a moment and have regrets about this Saturday.

Please join us for Saturday November 22!

Yeah sonic super guns will connect directly to the TV I've built one as well, basically all it is at it's most basic, is a converter that take the RGB video signal from an arcade board, and converts it to work on TV, some way in which to power it( in my case a PC PSU, and the control scheme from the JAMMA harness itself, the board lacks control ports(which all do save the neo geo as far as I know). They are pricey for a build unit but really they are super simple and pretty cheap to build, you can make one your self for like under $150 with 2 controllers if you are handy with electronics at all.

My super ghetto unfinished but working neo-geo super gun, the pic's huge and I'm lazy so I just linked it.

For mrtie,
Thanks for the informations :D

I don't know too much in the world of super guns… I had consider to utilize one but then decided to go with a cab for when I went into the world of PCB. I only desire a few PCB (Armed Police Batrider, Pink Sweets…)

Anyways, any ideas for the Saturday November 22nd? Who is interested in participating?

I just want to throw out that I installed the Homebrew Channel on my wii, and it is solid. I can play Japanese games! And throw on a crapload of emulated titles, as well as any homebrew games.

Magical Chase on a TV is so very nice.

I enjoy Batrider  though I may not be ninja at it like some others…
I am sure I would get better at it and enjoy it more if I had better means to play it thats for sure.

Also, did you still want those two games? I have Thunder Force VI on the way right now so it will be here well in time for next weekend!

I am trying to scrape funds together to get Otomedius as well but that releases on the 20th and I cannot guarantee that it makes it here on the 22nd

So its a go for the 22nd, I will also give Dale a call unless he sees this thread to see if he is able to make it out that weekend.

I may come down on the 22nd we'll have to see how the money situation is looking like that week, as I'm buying a SFIII cab this weekend.

Hope you fellows are able to make it :D

If we are planning to dine out, perhaps an earlier start time is in order?

Also for Davey,
do you really want to see the blue and maize get destroyed by the evil buckeyes? Its already been a rough season (though if Michigan wins, the season will suddenly become successful :? ) Either way if you're in Milan, you are most welcome to head out our way afterwords if you are up to it.

I have received Thunder Force VI.

I have spent some time playing it today and am very pleased with it. It may not be the greatest game to come out but is good enough for me and is truly a fan service to the franchise. The music seems ok but I make mistake of having Thunder Force III running on the other TV for a portion of the day which kind of drown out the music…

Anyways, just thought I share that, I guess. I am working on raising funds to order Otomedius and I think I'll be able to pre-order it on time for release…

Oh we are definitely on for this weekend. Its just a matter of figuring out if we are doing food first or just chilling at our house.

Cool. I have work that day until like 3:30, but that shouldn't be a problem I'd assume.

I'll need directions to the Pizza place unless we're going to meet at James. But you should still tell me the way there anyway. What time are we meeting?

I'm also going to bring a friend you haven't met and possibly Andy.

Edit: I'll need directions to Jame's house, I thought I had it in old PM's.

Thanks for the open invite, guys. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it because the transmission on my truck gave way this week, and the bill to repair it was a whopping $2200+, and it's already acting up again. This means that I'm poor *and* transportationless, at least for the time being.

Hope it was fun!
