Genesis video problem

First, if this should have gone in off topic sorry. Ok, A genesis i recently bought is displaying very washed out looking. Nothing looks red at all for example, even when i know it is supose to be red. I am using an RF connector but i dont think that alone should make it look as bad as it does. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how i could possibly fix it? Thanks and if this doesnt make sense i appologize, im very tired.
