19XX: The War Against Destiny (MAME)
Psyvariar 2 (DC)
Gradius V
Also got Silpheed: The Lost Planet on the PS2. It's by Treasure, I thought - how bad can it be? Hmm... Not too exciting is it? Looks nice though.

Just today, ESPGaluda. The scoring system is easy to learn; perfect for people who suck like me.

Under Defeat and Raiden III - loving em both although I prefer UD. The gfx are ace and I love virtually any shooter with helicopters since my Tiger Heli (arcade) addiction as a kid

DDP DOJ and Mushi on the way from Fleabay :D

Odd, that's the only game where I don't mind medal system (you have plenty of time to collect them).

On topic: Now playing Vasara. Great game, even though it hates me so much.

Picked up Mushihimesama again... who knows, I could nab the 1cc for maniac mode. Running the gamut with Gradius Collection the PSP too, every once in a while. Gradius 2's difficulty is eluding..., and I got to stage 8 in Gradius Gaiden for the first time recently. Finally remembered I coudl arrange the powerups, hehe.

I'm waiting for my copy of Gradius V to arrive in the mail and I'm nearly tearing my hair out in anticipation. Ikaruga was brilliant, and Gradius V looks fucking amazing from the youtube videos. Shit.. its made by the geniuses at Treasure, the game has to be epic (except Silpheed). I've only gotten into shmups about a year ago, or else I would of gotten Gradius V on release instantly.

Anyways, the games I'm playing at the moment are G-Darius, Ikaruga, Dodonpachi, Battle Garegga, and Einhander.

Addicting score-system.
Screen filling gold-ingots. ^^
A screen full of numbers just never gets old.
If you have the opportunity, play Mushihimesama Futari.
It's basically the same addicting effect, but way more fun (and more often)

"gold-ingots" we all love that :). lol no clue what it is btw or maybe I do, I've watched videos on youtube :)

It's unfortunate that Arcades here are rare, it's even rarer to see any sort of shmup in an arcade.

I really am enjoying Mushihime-Sama at the moment especial the artwork for the game, find it really unique. At first I didn't like it but later found it but then it grew on me.

Game feels like DoDonpachi but a lot easier lol

Under Defeat.
I take it most UD players use Reverse rotation? It seems more effective.

Only have time/capacity for mobile gaming at the moment, so Ketsui Death Label on NDS by default.

Still waiting for my Pandora to arrive. So many MegaDrive shooters I've been aching to play again.

Ketsui DS and DDP DOJ on Ps2.....

Today I got Mushi from a friend and threw in it a couple of credits but it didn really stick on me.
Tried arcade mode and just looks slow to me. Maybe its just cause I was playing DOJ just before loading Mushi?

Looking forward to your opinion on this..

DOJ in my opinion is a lot harder than Mushi... Mushi seems more relaxed and less difficult that's why I really enjoy it because I can sit back and lay back and play, rather than pull my hair out :)
