Cool CGI artwork...makes me wonder what the artist used programs-wise to create it.

Could Cave end using this pic for it's possible upcoming Dodonpachi VI PCB? Perhaps a high-res Cave shmup title this time around? ^_~

I'd have to guess Photoshop because it doesn't look like it's actually 3D. Some of the perspective of it seems weird (stinger and tail mostly).

edit: yeah it looks like everything here is 2D. Damn impressive.

It's also possible that he had first either the whole hornet or parts of it rendered, then he touched it up with photoshop.

It looks nice in fullshot, if you look at it quickly, if you look at it any closer, it begins to look uglier with each passing second.. that's the problem with most photoshop hacks these days
