Lewis Hamilton. World F1 Champion!

Post by mr_m0nks »

Well he did it, just! when Massa crossed the line at Interlagos he was world champion, within 30 seconds Lewis had overtaken Timo Glock to take 5th place and clinch the drivers championship

Youngest champion at 23, first ever black champion, dating a pussycat doll! this lad has got it going on!

I felt sorry for Massa though I think he proved later in the season that he was champion material but hey there is always next year and with all the rules changes I'm sure its going to be an interesting season.

Just hope Honda get some of their old form back

I really wanted Massa to win, and for about 10 seconds or so I thought he had it. :(

He ruled the race supreme. Too bad he got greqat a bit too late in the season.
Raikkonen was the disappointment of the season though.

Ah well always next season I suppose.
Congrats to Lewis.

There was definitely some confusion as whether McLaren or Ferrari won when the race was finally over. WTF? And just by a mere point more.

Yeah, Lewis Hamilton is the youngest driver ever at age 23 years and 300 days to win the prestigious Formula 1 championship. It must quite an awesome feeling to win your very first F1 championship. ^_~

Yep, there's always next year to see who'll emerge victorious in the upcoming 2009 F1 racing season.

The American stock car racing series that is NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is just about winding down with only 2 more races to go in the "Chase for the Cup" event. It looks like another nail biter between Carl Edwards and Jimmy Johnson. Who's gonna win the Sprint Cup series championship this time around? Will Jimmy win his 3rd straight Sprint Cup championship in a row? Or will Carl win his first ever Sprint Cup championship? We're in for some interesting racing here, folks. ^_~

Seeing the consistency that Hendrick Motorsports puts out year after year...they are the team to beat. But with all-new stocks cars using the COT (Car of Tomorrow) setup, it's a whole new ballgame when it comes to learning what makes them tick and perform flawlessly. Both NASCAR and the 42 racing teams still have a ways to go find what makes 'em COTs perform like the old-school stock cars from the previous generation. ^_~

That pit crew error in Singapore is really starting to look costly now...
