So, now I have two Virtua Stick High Grades for a PS3 that is all-region PS1,2 and 3, I'm selling my HRAP2 to that lovely Skykid, and just keeping my Hori Fighting Stick 2 for use with my Megadrive through a Tototek converter.
However, I can't sell my HRAP2 just yet, as somehow all the pins in the jack/plug of my HFS2 got bent to all hell. I can't straighten them, but, with some basic soldering skill, could I do the following?
I plan to remove the cable from the HFS2, and then just take the cable from and old PS2 pad and solder it in place on the HFS2. Any reason that won't work?
Thanks,
spadgy...

don't see any reason it won't work. depends on the pcb inside and how the cable is connected i guess. sometimes it's just soldered to the board (surface or through-hole), but sometimes third party pcbs will bring the wires into a connector block on the pcb and the pins would probably be a pita to source. worst case scenario you just replace the pcb.
