A Crow in hell - awesome indie game shmup players may like

Post by indstr »

It's not actually a shmup, but requires good reflexes & dexterity. Fans of horizontal shooters may like it particularly ...

Really sweet :D

Yeah I've discovered over the past couple of years that simplicity makes the best games. N+ is another example :)

I liked the game and style.

Like most shmups this game presents all of the information you need to see at once and provides a clear goal and asks that the player rise to the occasion. The game feels like a shadow puppet play from China.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

feels like a huge ripoff of this series: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/52537
,except uselessly long and repetitive. Soap bubble 2 is better at least.

Wow! You're right. Either they are made by the same guy, or a Crow in Hell is blatantly unoriginal. Control is Soap Bubble is a little tighter too. Still, fun games, both of them.

ACIH feels an awful lot like a cross between Out of This World (timing to get through obstacles, a little puzzle solving, etc) and Kolibri (slow and careful maneuvering).
