Unknown cool futuristic Fighter Jet...

Post by ST Dragon »

Anyone know what this cool looking fighter jet is?!
It lools like the YF-21 from Macross Plus!

The one on the top photo looks like the jet from stealth, but the bottom photo looks like a different concept plane!
Are you sure they're both from Stealth?

its a safe bet with Movie reviews. Not that its always the case

its pretty standard box office stuff though. I dont really enjoy that.
Give me a good comedy or an epic tale of future sc fi or fnatasy and im happy.

Last film i watched was event horizon. other than anime

I remember the bottom one from publicity shots in a plane magazine around the time it came out. The reviews were not positive.

Its never a safe bet with movie reviews. Unless you actually think Titanic is a good movie lmao.

Edit: Event Horizon is the shit BTW. :D

I find it funniest that the plane is supposed to become a rogue AI or something.

What, running on a radiation-hardened i386?

Well, I saw it and thought the design of the plane was indeed really kickass. The whole aerial battles were heavy on the CGI but had a cool Macross feeling I just can help but to love. Oh, the plane also has this neat robovoice... Reminded me of Ikaruga.

The story? The character development? The acting? The music? Who needs that? Ok, ok, I know.

Dunno, I still found it quite enjoyable despite the gigantic silliness and unbelievable stuff (there is a lot of that). Just believe like you would believe in Optimus Prime, Bush or Santa. Fine, not Bush.

Or picture it is a non-interactive shooter with some of the most terrible music ever. :P

The wet dream of a proggy-hipster euroschmukshmupper (tongue twister at your service! I challenge thee to pronounce that): a shooter where you don't play and just sit to watch cutscenes! That removes the boring "fly and shoot" that gets so stale and is killing the genre.

Turns it into: "Watch as they fly and shoot".

@Lordstar

if you have no problem once in a while watching & enjoying the likes of Star Wars or The Matrix - then your head won't implode of the stupidity of Stealth...

it's just pure (quite) mindless fun w/ spectacular visuals :)

lol Agreed with SFKhoa looks like a variant of the blackwidow. You can tell its from the movie 'Stealth' by the wing assembly.

I saw the movie during its cinema release in the UK.

The trailer looks okay however the actual movie I thought was pretty bad.

Once again the trailer men gift wrapped a turd.
