Yeah I read three updates about this. They sorted this one out real fast, like within hours, lulz.

What I'm confused about is the second update I read said the cops were looking to refer her to mental health people, instead of charging her, since it seemed she could do damage to herself. Then a third update said she was being charged with the false police report anyway.

Another victim of the GoP machine / McCain campaign's shitty tactics. She may have been a mental case but they provided the spark.

(also, how does one "scratch" with a knife? lol)

Wow, this is totally ridiculous. ( :!: ) Quite an entertaining read. I've been quite out of the loop regarding epic fails, but some people directed me to "classics", like the "parking lot fail", "towing fail" and a compile of "furries fails". Look them up if you don't know what I'm talking about. Mindless fun. :)

Best part - before any of the facts came out about this, the McCain campaign jumped right in to hype it up.

Now that's a REAL maverick, you betcha! *winks*

It was funny to be at the St. Louis Blues game last night and have Sarah Palin drop the puck. What started out as Boos got drowned out by deafening cheeers but in ear shot I couldn't hear anyone actually cheering. All the cheering was piped in. Plus the carpet they set out for her, our goalie Manny Legace stepped on and fell and hurt himself. Thanks Sarah Palin! My mom called and goes that sounded like they were cheering and I told her well maybe in China people would believe that, but all the cheering was piped in. What fucking bullshit.

You still live here? Ever get up to Game Trader?

Also, I knew some psycho idiot in college like this who actually had to be institutionalized because he was so obsessed with everything Republican and was blabbering like a total crackhead.

Game trader..is that in Crestwood? across from the mall? If it is, then yeah, but not in awhile..I'm still mourning the loss of what was left of the arcade in the mall.

No, Game Trader is in St. Charles. Crestwood was Game Exchange. There used to be one in St. Charles, now the only one is in South County. I still have memories of that arcade when it was Atari Adventure before it became Tilt then moved to its last incarnation as Exhilarama/Millenium/Tilt. Where in St. Louis do you live? I live in South County close to the mall.

I live in South St. Louis around the Kingshighway.
I did not know it was Atari adventure before. I remember the whole Exhilarama/Tilt thing. NOw the only way for me to get my gaming fix is at Meramec College and its mostly for MvC2 and Alpha 3.
Dude, we should hook up sometime.

They have arcade games at Meramec? What all do they have?

Joe T. and I pretty much just walk to each other's houses, live across the street from each other, and play games. I've got an Astro City cabinet and a Neo Geo sitdown 4 slot. Joe's got an Aero City. I've got 2 pinballs and he's got 1. So we rarely venture out to gaming spots unless its for new pinballs. Either that or we might visit Game Trader since he does imports and has a load of shit up there.

edit: I'm 27, and it was Atari Adventure up until I was like 10 I think b/c when it moved to its Tilt location by where the Champs/Sam Goody/American Eagle were, it was right when T2 Pinball came out and that was 1991. Atari Adventure was back in the corner where the mall turns by the theater. Last time I was in there it was a Radioshack. Atari Adventure was 2 floors, basically the awesomest arcade I've ever been in. http://mcurrent.name/atariholdings.html#adventure Down in there there's mention of Crestwood Mall having one of 4 Atari Adventures, the rest were called Space Ports. Interestingly enough I work with some people who worked at Edison Brothers, a past St. Louis company that went bankrupt. Its funny to hear the stories they tell about the arcades and how much they lost in certain locations due to license fees and taxes alone. Oh and how they started Dave and Buster's and sold it, yet it was profitable, lol.

Ok, I just tried finding this picture that was a planned design for Atari Adventures all across America but can't find it. If I see it, I will post it up. It was exactly how Crestwood was.

I found the end part funny where it says Sarah Palin is a role model. To whom is she a role model? Certainly not to me. I hate the way she emphasizes how shes a mom and a hockey mom at that as if that somehow makes her qualified to be a VP. I think she's a moron at best and a disgrace to women as every time she opens her mouth, stupidity flies out.

Heh, sorry about that...the conduct of much of the US media in recent years is something of a pet peeve of mine. In case you hadn't noticed. Either way, didn't mean to kill the topic...I'm actually kinda surprised that nobody else replied.
