To answer your question properly this is mostly meant to be open source. Freeware has a nasty habit of turning into shareware in about 3 years.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

I really like MediaPortal (HTPC app). I use it daily for several hours. It's almost reached the final version, 1.0. Then the team will begin working on MediaPortal 2...

Lol, I fail:

VLC got a RADICALY!!! NEW update, mainly it seems they fixed some things and fucked up the volume slider (BAH) and added some unneeded internet functionality, but seems alright overall

OpenOffice got a release back on the 9th or something but I didn't see it on the main page until today (despite checking only about a week ago lol).

Good times, good times.

Maybe you didn't see the proper main page, they had a serious server overload when they released OOo 3.0 (with significant downtime) and they replaced the site with a barebones download page.

I always liked mplayer better. VLC just feels slower in everything.

It looked like the usual main page. Anyway, yeah, strange stuff happening there.

Also OO 3.0 failed to finish the user registration phase, had to restart the computer and it tried it again. Now it's working fine.

Text seems to align properly now! Other than that, it looks pretty good.

VLC is better on Windows, mplayer is better on Linux.
