Behold.... AES for MVS.

Post by Strider77 »

Some folks may not venture into the hardware area of this place, I'm proud enough of the results here to show off the finished product in the heavier traffic area...

This was one of the more difficult things I've tackled... it wasn't so hard as it was time consuming and alot of brainstorming to make it fit, be sturdy, and not ruin the look of the outside shell in the process.

It's got a universe bios installed on a MV1-C mobo... so I can play all my carts in MVS or AES mode. I also added a power LED in the headphone jack hole up front. The reset and power switch are both functional. It has stereo and RGB output via a din 8, same thing that it originally had.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

That is one nice looking AES console but with the ability to play those cool MVS carts instead. ^_~

I'll be content with a MVS MV-1 PCB for the time being. The MV-1 mobos sure take up a lot of valuable real estate in terms of sheer size but at the very least, they get the job done by playing MVS cart the way it was meant to be. Lol. ^_~

does anyone know if there is a way to set samurai showdown 4 or 5 special to allow the winning character in a vs match to choose a new character after they win? or are they stuck using the same guy till they are killed off?

Don't you just set it in home mode - proper VS?

or don't either of those have a proper 2 player mode? even in home mode. if they don't well, you're not going to be able to do it basically.

I know the earlier shodowns didn't have a true VS mode, even in home mode. so its probably the same with the later ones.
