I was thinking about bumping the "Current Favourite Music" thread again but after 80 pages I think this warrants its own separate topic. I finally got around to scrobbling my tracks in linux after months of sheer laziness and sticking to VLC. So now if you want a look at my current favourite music it pretty much suffices to go to http://www.last.fm/user/fuzzeebunny.
I'm using Rhythmbox at the moment because it came pre-installed and took about 10 seconds to configure for Last.fm. Has anybody got a favourite scrobbling music player for Linux? I'd try Amarok but I'm in gnome and hear tell it has KDE dependencies, but should I stand corrected on that?
Meanwhile, and this has probably been done before, but feel free to post your Last.fm accounts likewise. How does everybody feel about the service? How often do you turn on your recommendations station? Are there better alternatives out there? I happen quite to like it, but I'm curious.
I honestly didn't know what lastFM was until a few days ago. I'm still not absolutely sure, but I signed up anyway, lolz. It's basicly just another vanity box to tell people about how awesome your taste in music is, isn't it?
