Replacement cable for HRAP 2

Anyone know where I would get one of these?

Old PS2 controller + soldering iron. You might not actually need to solder anything, just strip the wires and twist them together, with heatshrink over the join. Not sure how you'd find out which wire to attach to which other one, though. Testing connection between terminals on the plug and wires, I guess.

whats the deal with the cable on hraps? theres a few threads on SRK with guys looking for the same thing. do they fray easily or what?

People seem to be wrapping the cable around the hrap which makes it break after awhile.

Mine is still perfect after 2 years.

It's not even just that, I do that with all my other joysticks and it's never a problem. The HRAPs just generally have shit PCBs and Cords and they tend to be the first things to die on the sticks. Goes double if you have one of the awful US Tekken 5 models.

Edit: You may have luck finding another stick that is broken and stealing the cord from it. I've got a pile of Tekken 5 sticks and managed to get one working one by swaping pieces from each. Some of the different HRAP models use different PCBs though, so I'm not sure if the cord adapters are different as well.
