STG tutorials @ Kongregate

The flash-game-a-thon site Kongregate are releasing tutorials on how to make a shmup with Flash. Shootorials, as they would say.

The finished game isn't that special, but maybe it'll serve as inspiration for somebody to make a better version.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

I just saw this on Kotaku. I'm going to mess around with it and see what I can come up with.
