Dipswitch settings for Salamander 2 and Sexy Parodius

Post by ckong »

Recently I bought these two original arcade game PCB's. They are, as you all know, from Konami, System GX Type 2.

Although I searched the internet I can't find information about the dipswitch banks on the board. Could someone help me out with the settings?

Just the first two switches are in use on both of the games:

1 - Mono/Stereo
2 - Flip Screen (On/Off)

You can see this info on mame also.

I saw it on Mame, just dipswitch 1 and 2 were assigned, 3 up to 8 are 'unknown' in Mame. does this mean that the unknown dipswitches are not used by the board? I ask this because dipswitch 4 is set to 'on' for both my games, but when I set them to 'off' I notice no change. And I thought perhaps there is a combination for freeplay.
