Can you make an X360 play imports?

Post by doctorx0079 »

I can't find a topic about this specifically. I'm considering getting an X360. It looks like X360 and Wii are getting a lot more quality shmups than PS3. But if they're all imports that I can't play then it doesn't matter.

Moved to Hardware.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Yeah, it's ironic that it's so much easier running bootleg games than import games on a 360.

Arn't some (though not all) of the games themselves region free? I know my friend has a Japanese 360 but he is playing the US release of Blue Dragon. So there must be some way.

Most american releases are region free. Japanese ones, no.

Thus, buy a Japanese 360 (I just did) and depend on this list: http://forum.xbox-sky.com/xbox360_regio ... ity_guide/ It'll tell you what is and isn't compatible between regions. Very handy!
