Soukyugurentai OST?

Post by russ »

Yeah, this is a total longshot, but does anyone have any information? As far as I can tell, there hasn't been a release for the soundtrack, and I cant find any rips floating around... can anyone help me out here? This has got to be one of the greatest soundtracks I've ever heard.....

Yes, one was released. It would be quite expensive these days and I think it's meh personally, but whatever.

I've heard plenty of praise for this soundtrack on this site, but I don't get it. I enjoyed the game so much more once I figured out how to turn the music off. The sound effects are pretty nice, though.

...out of print. actually buying that soundtrack would be like trying to find a sealed copy of Radiant Silvergun: good luck on ebay. :/

russ, i'd suggest looking through any torrent sites you haven't yet.. good luck though, it's an obscure game. ^^;; i still can't find any music from Psyvariar 2, and that's almost mainstream among shmuppers...

Yes, i have it and costed me a lung and a half (100$). I would advice against buying it if you already have the game, after all you can listen to it as a normal audio CD.

So there IS a release, it's just ridiculously rare... wonderful. I'll keep on the look out for downloadable copy for it, and for now I'll listen to the crude arrangement of tracks on the game disc. Speaking of which, there are 51 tracks on the cd, but I don't even recognize 20 to 30 of them... well whatever, thanks for the help guys.

Ah, i forgot: you should not get the original soundtrack, but the Mahou, Shippu Mahou and Garegga soundtracks if plating the audio part of the cd. If i remember well, you need to actually enter the music menu of the game: if not, i think that you need to look for the rip of the OST :?

Yeah, I was about to say something there... All ST-V to Saturn ports utilize yellowbook audio.
