Soldner X

Soldner X is set to release thursday on PSN, does ayone know anything about this game? All I can tell is that it's horizontal, has an online high score list, and trophy support. The screenshots look pretty good. It's supposed to be a revamped version of the game released on PC some time ago. I'll probably buy it no matter what, but if anyone has played it on PC I'd like to know if its any good.

I played the PC version when it came out and it was pretty blah. Ugly graphics (especially explosions), weak weapons, boring stages that drag on, yadda yadda. Just not a whole lot of fun to play overall is the main problem.

It is pretty much summed up in the post above me.

Only by actually playing the new PSN version will we find out if the differences make the game a more enjoyable experience.

if it manages to get better... i didnt like the pc version either, and the announced "enhancements" are not exciting at all.
