supergun + LCD rgb + Cave sh3 = very white screen

:? bought a cheap 15" lcd tv. good thing is it has rgb in scart (not many have real rgb at cheap prices in europe). i could use a ps2 in rgb = good results.

i could use a supergun with old double dragon jamma and picture was correct. but trying some recent Cave (mushihime futari, pinksweets) the colours have heavy gamma, it's nearly white & some very light red/blue/green

how could i lower the luminosity ? (tried from setup tv, but couldnt be better, ... reminds me a bit from these 5" thrustmaster rgb screens who had very white colours too) . this supergun was normal one and used to work good with crt monitors ...

dont have very much time at moment , so i will be very pleased to read if someone had this kind of trouble & found an answer :)

Are there color correction options on the board's settings menu? jonny5 mentioned something about color settings on his futari recently.

colors are fine on my cab.....i was just curious to see what other peoples settings were.....

try turning down the brightness and contrast...might explain the white-ness and the faded colors

you need to add 75 ohm resistors to the rgb lines. the color levels are way high on the cave stuff. this solved my problems with that. well.... I know it did with mushi....
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

The same could be said of the PGM-based Cave PCBs of Dodonpachi-DOJ, Ketsui and ESPgaluda...very notorious for having such high RGB output levels when there isn't any need to do so.
