So apparently there is more than one kind of Rubik's Cube...

A place where you can chat about anything that isn't to do with games!

Now that you have seen some of these do you plan to buy one in the next 30 days?

Yes, this reminds me that I still need to master the original.

pretty freaking nuts
Yeah, it's amazing to see young'uns solve them pretty quickly.

I recall back in 1987 or 1988, there was a World competition for the ace Rubik's Magic puzzle and some kids were able to solve it in a quick 3 to four seconds. Damn, that's fast. ^_~

Trying to solve the Master Edition of Rubiks Unlink the Rings puzzle takes more time and complex folds to pull off. Not to mention that it has more parts and line filament to deal with when flipping, flapping and folding the various pieces to solve the 2nd variant Rings puzzle.

The orb is easy. just takes a bit of patience and determination.

the hard part is simly getting the orbs from the larger rings to the large rings and the smaller ones to the small rings.

At this point, it's simply a mater of lining stuff up, doing a 180 twist, rotating the rings, and repeating until solved.
