I rarely mix the two, because it really is pretty bad for your health. Well, not really bad for your health, but really dangerous if you go overboard with it. I guess you could say that I alternate on binging between the two, with a few weeks break for sobriety here and there, every once in a while.

I go to the bar once a week or so. I usually stick with Bud Light or Corona, though I get an occasional mixed drink.

What drug is the next poll going to be about, jonny5? :P

im just curious about what people are into outside games....what else they do in there leisure time

ive been wondering lately if there was anything besides games that many of us have in common....

like is their a certain type of person/personality that is drawn to shmups/arcade games in general

so far it seems to be a pretty mixed bag

and its been slow at work this week so i figured it was a good time to make some topics to follow

I gave up about 8 years ago (when I was 21) after heavily drinking from 14. Haven't really looked back, although sometimes when the weather is hot (never in the flippin' UK) I fancy a cool beer. saves a fortune not drinking I tell ya.

(I was an idiot when I drank and never really could stop after 3).

I never really understood beer at all. I mean, I know some people think it tastes good, and I guess there are a few beers that I can stand, but if you want to get drunk, why not just just get something hard and start chugging? Then again, I guess not everyone likes getting totally smashed all the time.

Don't fall asleep with nothing but alcohol in you. Eat a sandwich and chug a bunch of water first. It helps me, but I rarely get bad hangovers anyway.

I'm drinking right now!

Barely touched a drop since June actually, only reason I have a drink right now is because my throat has been sore all day so I thought some scotch would sooth things (it has). I need to build up my tolerance again for when I get a job and new friends, not drinking for several months and losing a stone in weight tends to throw things out of whack.

Guinness and Samuel Smiths (the Winter Welcome and Oatmeal Stout specifically) are my favorite poisons.

Are you kidding me?!?! Of course I do! :)

Call me whatever you want, but this really helps releasing some tension.
Well that and I really LOVE a good beer.

Give me a Duvel or Grolsch over almost everything every day. (lets hope the gf doesn't read this......... and she won't).

Sure it gets me in trouble sometimes but it gets me out of it the next day as well. :P

about 70% of people who answered said they do drink....and for weed about 70% said they dont smoke....

interesting....but i expected this

thanx for the responses so far guys.....keep em coming

Sapporo is good stuff. I drink occansionally. Today, I had a New Castle Brown Ale (goes down smooth) and a Wild Blue (blueberry beer that almost tastes more like a wine. 8% alcohol). I also like wheat beers like Blue Moon and Lenies Wheat.

I don't drink to get drunk, but I prefer the non-light beers since light beers generally have more of a watered down taste compared to the regular ones.

Don't knock it man, it works.

My Dad's cure for a cold is as much rum as he can drink without getting told off.

Just beer, but not often, and only socially. If other people didn't drink, I don't think I would at all.

I don't really like the after effects of being drunk. It just makes me feel like utter shit; scummy and dirty. I'd rather smoke weed any day of the week, but I don't really do that any more either.

What's funny about Coors in particular is that the beer is brewed, and then "blended" with that famous rocky mountain water. I don't know why they don't just cut out the middle man and brew it with the water but I guess then it would taste like something and just ruin the brand.

These days I drink casually about once or twice a week at the bar with some friends. Which usually means a pint or two of something on draft (local brews ftw), or a cocktail like whiskey + coke. If there's a rager or something shots are good  .
I'm a HUGE fan of beer pong...

I'm sure I'm in a huge minority here, but I never drink alcohol, not even at weddings or new years parties.

I honestly could never see any reason why I'd want to and people trying to get me to do it only annoyed me and made me more adamant about avoiding it entirely.
