very very very very super very rare occasion i will have one. I never have gamed while under the influence. I would not care to do it alone but then everyone who smokes it around here is a complete stoner and I dont like hanging around people when there like that.

lolz at the under the influence bit....

what a lot of non-smokers dont realize is that sure, as a non-smoker it fucks you up....but if you smoke regularly its just relaxing....it doesnt mash you up the same way

same with alcohol....for a non-drinker a few beers would have them pissed....but if you have a few beers in the evening regularly its different...

its a relaxation thing...

and im not a chronic smoker anymore.....i smoke most days but its like a little bowl....

and i will be honest and say that my play is not as good as when im not stoned...but im still having fun so thats all that matters.....

i see what you are doing there....heh heh....nice....

but weed has nothing to do with how i type....like i said...i hardly smoke anymore....

i think msn is more responsible for my typing style....but i swore off msn a while ago

and a question for you jpj, after your drunk story.....do you feel alcohol consumption is better than weed smoking?

like do you feel going home after work and having a few beers is not comparable to smoking a bowl or 2?

personally i find drinking far more debilitating than weed smoking

cuz i dont care how much weed you smoke you arent going to have a night like yours....lolz

i think weed smoking is far more consequence free than drinking

just my opinion tho

Alcohol, LSD, 2C-I, MDMA, MDA, DOB, DOC, DOI, 2C-T-7, mescaline, DXM, DMT, psilocybin, DIPT, meth, cocaine... those are all only done occasionally though, opiates are the only thing I do on a fairly regular basis. Well, I guess I drink quite a bit too.

You edited your post after I quoted you... weed is very readily available in my area, I just don't like the effects....

i stopped doing psychedelics a long time ago.....when i was younger i was trying to escape reality...now im quite comfortable with my environs....the last few times i did shrooms or the like i didnt enjoy it at all

people change i guess

Disagree Jonny my man.

They're all drugs, and excessive use of anything that unnaturally affects the body is bad and will have long term effects.
Smoking too much weed leads to all sorts of issues, including addiction (not a myth) long term paranoia, and generally poor sociability.

I'm not pigeonholing anyone mind, some people cope better than others and will be less affected.

I used to smoke with friends back when I was sixteen or so, but I never really liked it. I hated the way it zapped any opportunity to do something important or creative for the rest of the day by monging me out.

Some of those school friends got so bad they needed a joint before going to sleep.

I reckon getting drunk every now and then is no big deal - although I'm with the argument that smoking a joint now and then is no big deal either. I just don't agree with excess.

...

well, i used to do both, here and there. my problem with cannabis is two-fold: alcohol makes me relaxed around people i don't know (easier talking to women, etc), whereas cannabis turns me into a vegetable. and secondly, i can listen to music for hours on end when i'm high. don't really understand how or why this is, but i could even listen to 1 track on repeat for an hour, just mesmerised by the snare pattern or something stupid like that. i've heard lsd users say similar stuff.

my girlfriend doesn't drink or do drugs, which means i don't by de facto either. occassionally if i'm out an' about, but for the most part i don't really need it, and feel much better without it :D

i can understand what you're saying though, about relaxing, but i get that from regular nicotine these days

and props for being a forum member who knows how to take a joke

agreed skykid...you and i are on the same page....

everything in moderation.....i just find it funny when people who drink to the point of being drunk say that pot fucks you up....not pointing fingers at anyone but in general....

i dont think doing anything to the point of dependence is a good thing

and to jpj: im used to catching flack for my typing....should have expected a comment here considering the topic.....

and ya...all in good fun.... jk

DXM is dextromethorphan, it's a dissociative hallucinogenic like Ketamine or PCP, and it's also the active ingrediant in cough syrup. DIPT is diisopropyltryptamine, and it mostly just makes shit sound weird. 2C-T-7 is a hallucinogenic phenethylamine. DOB, DOC, and DOI are all substituted amphetamines and phenethylamines, and are kind of similar to LSD.

NOT cool, buddy.

i only drink alcohol once in a while.
used to eat shrooms and tried smoking green stuff for some time, but i stopped all that.
smoking weed never was any fun for me. it never felt good.
perhaps this is somewhat related to my a.d.d.
never did chemical stuff. and nobody should. because you never really know what's in there (well unless you produce them)

Jockel, I'll most certainly agree that my opiate and alcohol use aren't cool, only because of the frequency with which I use them. But, but what's wrong with the "chemical" stuff? I never put anything in my body unless I know exactly what it is. If I ever get something from someone that I don't complete trust (which is almost never), I use a test kit on it.

...and yes jpj, I'm a chemistry nerd

Used to, for about 3 years solid. Towards the end, it started disagreeing with me, so I decided to quite, and haven't done it since. I don't think I'll be starting again either.

MX7, what do you mean by 'disagreeing with you'? Do you mean you started feeling really paranoid when you would do it, because that's happened to several of my friends...

ive found in my experience opiates are way too habit forming way to quickly

and as for psychedelics.....i dont like what happens to my thoughts....the darker side of me comes out....and i dont enjoy it because it gets me down

and ive never experienced paranoia from weed....well except when i used to grow it....but thats due to the illegality of it....not the combustion...

Yeah, after a few years of using it problem free, it started giving me panic attacks. I still get them to this day, despite not smoking for years. I was smoking it constantly, but no more than a lot of people I know. I guess I'm just really unlucky, lol

Yeah, opiates are definitely addictive. Psychedelics don't ever bring out a darker side of me, just a different side. Unless I experience ego death, then there's no side at all. I've never been paranoid on weed, but I haven't really done it very many times. It mostly just makes me lazy as crap :?

E:
MX7, that sucks man. Are you sure it's because of the weed. It's really weird for it to still be affecting you like that after being off of it for so long.

I did for many years and quit after I started baking brownies a few years back. I got back to smoking recently because it's more cost effective and I was unemployed but I'm going back to brownies now that I have a job. I definitely prefer the brownie high. Other than that, mushrooms and other psychedelics every couple months. I usually have between 1-3 beers a day depending on what I'm drinking. Opiates are always nice to relax with.

Some people just have the perspective that that shit is bad no matter how often you use them or how responsible you are. It's a pretty irrational perspective but it's one held with vigor by a lot of people.

for me personally i have thoughts that i know are wrong to be having and when i do psychedelics i kind of dont distinguish the good from the bad....

i have issues.....drugs dont help them

i can handle it on my own but introduce something that trips me out and its trouble.....

but its a personal thing...i have no problem with what others put in there bodies...

to be honest i wish i could enjoy it like i used to when i was younger....but i dont
