All that performance enhancement without shrinking my penis size?!

Image

Ingredients: Pizza Cashews & Pitas, Tomato Sesame Sticks, Tomato Almonds, Cheese Pitas and Mozzarella Peanuts

Okay so that one doesn't look too bad., still looks kinda greasy and salty though. (And since when did Gordon Freeman have long hair?)

Image

Ingredients: Wasabi Soy Almonds and Peanuts, Wasabi Peas, Honey Mustard Sesame Sticks and Pita Chips

Chunks of wasabi? Are you serious?

Image

Ingredients: Almonds, Chocolate Raisins, Cherries, White Chocolate Chips

Probably the most sensible mix there.

Image

Ingredients: Peanuts, Peanut Butter Chips, Strawberry Jelly Chips, Bread Cubes

Bread cubes?

You can pretty much tell sticking the word 'gamer' on a product is a marketing afterthought, the only way these would sell quicker is if Master Chief was on them.

The company are also looking for their 'fans' to send in new ideas too, how about a JRPG Mix? Dry Ramen pieces, Seaweed Flakes, Pocky Bits and Octopus cubes. :P

Wasabi peas are awesome. You can pick up a big old bag of them in any east asian food shop for liek £1.50.

This is dumber than game fuel and those "gaming chairs" that are actually just a cheap car seat with speakers in them.

those snacks look good, i like wacky trail-mix. Not something I'd want to live off of, but a somewhat healthy (nuts+dried fruit) dose that satisfies my sweet/salt tooth. . . . wait, is it liquified?! If so I take everything I said back.

Wasabi peas go great with a tall glass of cold beer.

I would try the PB&J ones just out of morbid curiosity.

All that stuff is already available at your local wholefoods store. This is a good example of shoehorning a product into a new market.

...eh, no thanks. I don't like eating while gaming (drinks between stages/whatever are fine, though!)

Look in the ethnic food aisle of any big supermarket Zebra, you don't need to hit up a specialty store.

Surely you'd just get your controller/stick/keyboard all greasy? It's such a stupid idea on so many levels...

It's the polite thing to do when playing with arcade controls by having your hands free of food debris. ^_~

Interesting way how marketing is always looking to jazz up food products for nichie markets such as gamers. For the usual ol' standbys, some Mountain Dew does the trick for me. For some really odd reason, I had one helluva of a time trying to find Japanese Mountain Dew in Japan...managed to find two different sized cans small and medium sized ones. Both were priced at the usual 130 yen pricepoint.

It was easier to find such Japanese Pepsi and Coke without any problems but it was like going on a treasure hunt to search and procure the ever elusive Japanese Mountain Dew soda. ^_~

Say LaserGun, do you work for said company marketing that snack stuff?

That stuff looks gross.

I prefer a simple diet coke or coffee. I don't usually eat while playing games. The CASUAL GAMER would have enough time though between action.

P_O Funfact: Casual gaymerz have plenty of time to eat due the mild challenge and minimal interaction required in todays world.

Tis very true. For the serious shmupper who demands nothing but the best when it comes to making such split second decisions during a Cave flavored danmaku gaming session, it's a different story. ^_~

Man I bet the calorie count in those things is through the roof. They look like pure colored starch.
