Mobile Light Force 2

Post by GrimoreLibrarian »

I'm confused about this game. On the cover I see the Charlee's Angels fighting flying robot. But in the game I see highschool boys, some strange men, and some super natural women fighting giant toys and demons.

So was there a mix up? Or is this just another NES cartridge cover?

It's a well-known story. Basically a low-budget US publisher made that mess.

They have since put the pipe down..
Castle Shikigami 2 was a fairly decent localization albiet the LOL translations. They even remembered leave TATE in.

I don't care too much for the first Shikigami no Shiro game anyhow. the other 2 are fair enough however.

eh i can't seem to find translations for any of the shikigami games, though it seems interesting to me.

That must be a translator's nightmare: no matter how good your job is, people will think you suck, but the source material is just that bad.

The story line is cheese and very hard to follow but the game itself is pretty darn good. Shikigami is the only shmup I understand the mechanics to and can play pretty well. Plus I love the characters and have even gotten a bit into their background stories as well.
It’s almost over. It’s just begun.

I'm sure the storyline is swell, I just never understood stopping in the middle of bullet-hell to smell the roses. At least it gives it some character, if nothing else.

The original Taito/Alfa Systems release of G-Card cartridge version, Shikigami No Shiro, running on the Jamma compatible Taito G-Net mobo setup is great. With virtually no loading times to worry about, it has that instantneous startup from the get-go -- none of that slow-ass loading times that plagues the PS2 console port of SnS. ^_~
