Death Smiles price question

I have seen some of these kits go lately in here. I just saw that EOJ (TWE at NG) sold one for about a grand. I thought when these hit the market they sold for about 1800 -2000. Are people taking a loss on this kit because of a future Xbox release?

BTW EOJ did you offer that kit here as well?, i did not see it here

Kits have been going for $700-800 on YAJ recently. I think it probably has more to do with the super mega extra special black tar label PCB version that just came out more than a port this xmas(?). Its been due to come down in price anyway by now.

BTW: EOJ had it up for sale here as well.

It's mainly due to the fact it is now *just* over a year old (I dare say that Mega Black Label coming soon might have an influence, but not much). A year after release most non-black labels have ended up around $1000 in the west - if not less.

Daifukkatsu will end up the same in 8-9 months time, I expect.

i know its been out a year but i think the price on this has dropped really fast for some strange reason both muchi muchi pork and mushi futari are going for more at jap retailers may be its because mmp did not get a second print and people say mushi futari is cave's best game

i think its down to the 360 port and the mega black label people are getting rid of their kits scared of loosing to much cash

Nobody wants a game that's getting another PCB version as WELL as a port for consoles.

Nobody wants a game that's getting another PCB version as WELL as a port for consoles.

That good news for those fellow shmuppers looking to buy such a cheaper Death Smiles PCB kit. As the ol' saying goes: If you wait awhile, said barebones PCB (or PCB kit) will be cheaper to buy than if you were to buy it on "day one" of release directly from the manufacturer. That sage advice has never failed me. ^_~

No thats still above my limit for YAJ purchases. I'd rather buy MMP before Deathsmiles anyway.
