Wow. I played DeathSmiles at Arcade Infinity earlier tonight. This makes Raiden IV, Mushihimesama Futari, and DeathSmiles all in one public US arcade. If you live in SoCal, within reasonable driving distance, please do yourself a favor and go.
I feel like I'm dreaming when stuff like this happens.
Arcade Infinity update: DeathSmiles!

It's always good news to hear that such local arcades in the USA stocking such cool Japanese arcade shmup PCB titles.
It isn't so with such Central Valley of California based arcade hangouts -- with them being boring and stale as they come. The only remedy to that problem would be to have more such independently owned arcades rather than the franchised owned arcades.
There's still a marketbase to cater to American arcade gamers today -- it ain't nothing like how it was back in the Golden Age of American arcades, the early 1980's. That was the era to be in if you wanted to play the latest and greatest in arcade games from that time period. It seemed like every week, another arcade game manufacturer was releasing their latest arcade game cabinet and the players lining up to wait their turn to try it out. Those were the good ol' days of arcade lore never again to be repeated. ^_~
Dave K.'s idea of having such an arcade hangout + serving alcohol + sexy strippers = $$$ is such an interesting combination for one. I'd like to see it become a reality.
The real question is:
How does one politely address the "strippers at an arcade" issue to the local city council members and will they approve of it? They just might shoot it down -- something to ponder about about the pros and cons of operating such an arcade as that one -- definitely not for minors, indeed. ^_~

The sad thing is I could drive the eighteen hours to Rowland Heights, stay in a hotel for three days while I play the hell out of the game, drive back, and it would still be cheaper than buying the game myself.Necronopticous wrote:Arcade Infinity is in Rowland Heights.
At least until the port comes out.
It's always cool to hear of arcades that are stocking newer and rarer games.

Lol...they might end up wanting a better discount than a measly 10%, right? Or better yet, spice up the offer with some extra freebies thrown in and they just might bite. ^_~GaijinPunch wrote:Tell them they get 10% off all double-fisted hand jobs. How does one politely address the "strippers at an arcade" issue to the local city council members
