Shmups Superplay Starbase has just reached its 500th video!!

Hello to you AWESOME shmup people once more, and I want to share this most exciting news with all of you: my premier shmups superplay group on YouTube, entitled Shmups Superplay Starbase, has now finally reached its 500th video at long last... if you have been with me since August 11, 2006, you know that it is your excellent one-stop place for such greatest and most amazing streaming shmup plays large and small, from no-misses to 1cc’s and especially to such unusually spectactular feats that would have otherwise been impossible to pull off, too!!!

To nicely round it off, the 500th official video is an amazing 1cc of Blazing Lazers/Gunhed as played by Toneman himself... remember that great game on the TG16/PCE from 1989? That set ONE helluva standard where Turbochip-based shooting games were concerned... yep!!

In recent months, I *did not* get a full shot at checking up on my group as often as I should have (

), but now, I will be accepting even more new shmup-based superplays that you create and present on YouTube as I continue this scene indeed... so HERE IS TO YOU, you most excellent die-hard shmup community, and I thank you ever so much for continuing to make this group quite a phenomenal success indeed!!!!
