怒首領蜂 大往生 ブラックレーベル EXTRA
So the final product name is Dodonpachi Daioujou Black Label Extra or DDPBLEX. And looks like the Dec. 25th 2008 release date is pretty much confirmed by Famitsu.
縦画面モード、スコアランキング、リプレイといった機能を搭載
I don't know what it means by vertical screen mode...I thought it was vertical gameplay already? Plus there's Score Ranking and replays to create and download on Live.

I actually think it's very well-detailed, which keeps it from feeling aged. In fact I largely thought the same of the original DDP, but DOJ refines it further with its fluid animation (<3 hyper shots).PROMETHEUS wrote:Which is too bad really, DOJ in particular could use a major re-lifting. It looks very aged I think.

Please don't mislead. They don't ship EMS. If you want to roll the dice and ship it SAL/boat, I can do that for a trusted forum member. I don't recommend it though.Etrian wrote:
Yep, although.. shipping to me was actually CHEAPER through play-asia.. so you should check play-asia's total cost as well.

You're looking pretty buff these days.

I think he's referring to their UPS and FedEx services. I got my X360 shipped from Hong Kong via FedEx for $70 (EMS, which they also offer, would have been about $120). Took about 2-3 days.GaijinPunch wrote:Please don't mislead. They don't ship EMS. If you want to roll the dice and ship it SAL/boat, I can do that for a trusted forum member. EDIT: Just checked, and they now offer just UPS or EMS shipping options for X360 consoles. $72 for UPS (1-4 days), $120 for EMS (3-5 days).

Yep, that's what I'm referring to. If GaijinPunch can ship them from Japan using UPS or FedEx, then it might be cheaper that way. Otherwise..EOJ wrote:I think he's referring to their UPS and FedEx services. I got my X360 shipped from Hong Kong via FedEx for $70 (EMS, which they also offer, would have been about $120). Apparently I'm "not trusted"

The items never arrived so I got a refund.. pretty straight forward stuff. I've had other deals with about 5 different people here but only 1 has bothered to put feedback on me. As for your trading record.. that would be zero.CStarFlare wrote:yeah how weird is that huh

Lol..if it makes you feel any better I'd probably not partake in a business transaction with you after that fiasco. A 360 is alot to shoot out into the open- especially uninsured. I can't see why you of all people would want to risk that.Etrian wrote:The items never arrived so I got a refund.. pretty straight forward stuff. That being said- GP's a superhero when it comes to sourcing stuff. I've already tapped him on the shoulder. He doesn't seem out to make a profit- but I'll be damned if us forum members don't get him some flyer miles

k that's great. Guess you won't be buying any of my stuff then, and it'll go to someone else, but that isn't the point at all. I've never had a package from play-asia go missing, ever, and I'm fairly certain that the UPS option will also include tracking of some sort. I've done business with GaijinPunch before.. like, I'm not trying to take business away from him. Overall what I am getting at is the total cost -- in this case, play-asia seems to be cheaper.Battlesmurf wrote:Lol..if it makes you feel any better I'd probably not partake in a business transaction with you after that fiasco. Last of all, it still isn't my fault at all that Lordstar's items never arrived (and they still haven't).

I've sent a couple of thousand packages from Japan to you name it, and only two by airmail have gotten lost. None by SAL, none by boat. Still, there's a first for everything.Etrian wrote:I've never had a package from play-asia go missing, ever,
So to play devil's advocate, if you had me send it to you SAL and it didn't show up, would you issue a charge back? If you wouldn't bother w/ that type of shipping then you being trusted or not is a moot point.Last of all, it still isn't my fault at all that Lordstar's items never arrived (and they still haven't).
Anyways, after checking, UPS' cheapest shipping method for a 6kg box is 26,000 yen. So yeah, that's out.

Does the x360 kit weigh that much? Or were you referring to something else?GaijinPunch wrote:Anyways, after checking, UPS' cheapest shipping method for a 6kg box is 26,000 yen. So yeah, that's out.

Wouldn't Y!JP be even cheaper in the long run? I see them there for 15-25k, or $150-250. And shipping would be... $70? I'm guessing since that's how much the shipping on my HRAP1 was. The Xbox 360 Arcades on Play-Asia are about $340 total. Overall that would be cheaper.Etrian wrote:Overall what I am getting at is the total cost -- in this case, play-asia seems to be cheaper.

Are SAL and UPS different? Can't you use UPS?GaijinPunch wrote:So to play devil's advocate, if you had me send it to you SAL and it didn't show up, would you issue a charge back? If you wouldn't bother w/ that type of shipping then you being trusted or not is a moot point.
I wouldn't have a clue.. expect Rinkya or SMJ to charge out the ass in shipping & their own fees. The HRAP is only 2.6KG in comparison to the 360 @ 8kg. zboz is HUEG. Even if you got one for 15,000 yen -- you'd probably end up paying the same amount in shipping+fees.Elixir wrote:Wouldn't Y!JP be even cheaper in the long run? According to gpara article, both DDPDOJBL Extra and Ketsui Extra will be playable at Sega booth at next month's TGS, along with Shooting Love 200X.
Guess Sega will be distibutor for these games.

SAL is a method used by Japan Post. It's basically fast surface. UPS is a different company. And yes, I can use them. Shipping via UPS from Japan for the unit is $250 at least, as stated above.Etrian wrote: Are SAL and UPS different? Can't you use UPS?

The UPS rates differ a lot between private (and small business) and real business accounts. PA ships a lot via UPS and they get real good prices. The same goes for Amazon JP.
It's the same with all the major freight companies (Fedex, DHL, UPS). As a private person (or with a small biz like GaijinPunch) you can hardly use those services at "normal" prices.
The japanese post office is among the best worlwide though. EMS service is ~ 3 days to Europe, airmail most often less than a week and even SAL is pretty good with 7-10 days to most european destinations.
