I've started work on building my own (waiting for parts to arrive...), and while I was searching around for the official PS2 saturn pad layout I came across this. However, according to here, the button layout is stupid. I'll keep this thread updated with progress on my own adaptor.
EDIT: Err... I wanted to start on the code, I ended up pretty much finishing it. If anyone has access to an Atmel AVR (I wrote it for an attiny2313, if you fix up the pinout other devices should be ok) I can send you the source to try. Hopefully my AVRs should arrive sometime this week...
Saturn -> PSX controller converter
Success! (Sort of)

Getting the microcontroller to talk to the PSX was harder than I thought. Poking around with an oscilloscope got it going eventually. Wipeout refuses to work, but everything else I've tried is fine. Hopefully I can get more converters working.
Anyone have suggestions for a select button?

Cool. I've been wondering when someone was going to build this. I think it'd be best to put the select button on the external converter box. That should be easier than modifying your saturn pads.ReKleSS wrote:Success! (Sort of)
