Cheers Turrican - a good list, and I only have a couple to go which is reassuring! You're always reliable for posts and threads that work as useful resources - keep up the good work sir!

You're welcome :)

By the way if someone has data on the PAL Sega Classic Collection (for Fantasy Zone), I accept contributions

I have that at home somewhere (plus the OST on vinyl! Lucky to blag that!) so if I don't get beaten to it I'll submit tonight.

I'll do that for you mate.

It was when I worked for a company who handled the PR for Sega in the UK at the time the PAL release came out. We got sent about 5 of the vinyls from Sega with the game. Normally we'd send that kind of stuff to press (in fact as I type I remember there was T-shirts for each different game in the compilation, and those did go out to press - but none for Fantasy Zone!).

Anyway - these records weren't for press, but just a nice gesture to me and my colleagues who liked vinyl from a guy at Sega, so I got to keep one.

I think they did 200 records in total. It has one track for each game. I think they were pressed in the UK rather than Japan. I'll check in a bit.

And now mine is scratched to all hell!

Now where did my outrun T-shirt go? I gave the Golden Axe one to a pretty girl! Damn.

No kidding, that would be awesome - covering only the postage wouldn't be enough of a thanks! :) It surely would fit nicely near my Super Xevious German vinyl.

Awesome marketing stuff had SEGA there!
