What are your top 5 shmups and say why!

Mine are

1.) Under Defeat (simply an incredible game makes me feel like I'm 10 again in the arcades)

2.) ESPrade (the best cave shmup just love it)

3.) Donpachi (this is what started my 2D shooter hobby off, awesome game)

4.) Ibara (i know its a marmite game but i love the anime art style and its pure carnage in flull flow, brutal game).

5.) Mushihimesama. ( I love the fantasy setting with the bugs and the music is ace).


Just missed the list, Cyvern, Gunbird 2, Progear, Batsugun and ESPgaluda.
