Of course, an internet quiz can not be taken too seriously, but let's do it for the lulz. Take the test HERE.

My results:

Image

Your Aspie score: 151 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 53 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

And I'm so NOT surprised. :P

Damn that was too long.

Anyway I answered honestly:-

Your Aspie score: 30 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 179 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

I'm almost the opposite of Autistic. Any autistic type score I registered would be from mild shyness.
I have a cousin who is highly autistic :( - its very difficult.

EDIT:- Thinking back to the questions in the test.... .....The Old Mills would score high on the autistic side.

if you want to do a test "just for the lulz", try the scientology personality test.
it's so ultra stupidly made, everyone with a working brain would notice that they are trying to manipulate you.

Oh, and no matter how you score on the above test, you will never beat THIS guy:

http://www.ulillillia.us/mainindex.shtml

This guy is afraid of stairs, chairs (he only sits on the floor), mirrors, certain words, blue water, silverware, whistling, sun-lit ground etc. He also enjoys listening to the same videogame music track for weeks at a time, while altering the speed of the track and keeping record of what speed change creates the best "compability". He also almost ONLY eats degreased cheese pizza. Oh, and he is obsessed with drowning Tails in Sonic 2, and has some sort of dryer filter over his keyboard and a towel over his mouse because his hands are so greasy.

http://www.ulillillia.us/aboutme/majorfears.shtml

At first I found everything pretty funny, but after a while I just felt bad for him, especially since he suffers from not ever being able to go anywhere besides going to the grocery store. At least he has his "mind game". That´s no aspergers, that´s most certainly high-functioning autism. Love the sites colorscheme, tho.

This is fascinating, thank you! I particularly like his obsessive compiling of all his dreams. It seems like an aspect of his life he has no control over, thus rationalising them in diary format helps him somewhat. And because of the obsessive detail that go into them, they have a very strange and transcendent quality. Awesome.

153 questions?
At the end it should just say: "you are an idiot for answering 153 questions and expecting any kind of multiple choise quiz to be of any worth" 8)

Heh, and you probably haven't heard the worst of it.

I was at this one residential facility (lol euphemisms) until my dad found out that the doctor there was going to conventions where pharmaceutical companies would peddle their psychoactive kiddy dope to doctors and maybe strike up a deal (free samples?) if the doctors would agree to recommend their products to patients. I don't think that doctor was too lonely either. Luckily I was out of there fast after that.

Somewhere i found the german version, but can't dig it up right now.
You can always do these in your own language at the scientology page of your region xD
notice how often they repeat the same questions over and over again.
there is even a chart for "correct" or more likely ideal answers.
i can post that later.
funny thing is, even IF you answered all the questions correctly, they'd still try to sell you courses.
If you want to brush up your knowledge of the insanity that is scientology, check out xenu.net. but if you want to know a little about scientology and have a lot of fun, check out the Southpark-episode trapped in the closet. great fun. :D

I guess what it boils down to is that none of these questions actually matter in any way, but rather wear you down (200 of them) until you think that this test is actually tells something about who you are.

Also, that Southpark episode is classic. I´ve never seen much Southpark stuff but this and the WoW and Guitar Hero episodes were very clever.

Non-Aspie. Neurotypical.

Too bad. I wanted to find an excuse for immaturity, and use it as an excuse not to behave maturely, even though I'm fully aware of my age and what is expected of me. :P

Neurotypical. Does this refer to neurology or neurosis? They're both fucked-up "diagnoses" in this context: psychoanalysis having pretty much had its day, neuron potentials reasonably irrelevant except in illegible aggregation.

Briefly heteronormative, which is something actual social scientists at least try to avoid. It rings false like a shrink brought up Hindu asking whether one believes in god.

neuro- is just in relation to the brain; the -typical means that you're normal.
