Sony Slim PS2 from play asia will I need a step down?

Sony Slim PS2 SCPH-90000SS (NTSC) JAP from playasia.

Will I need a stepdown????

I'm a bit unsure.

No need. Just change the 2 pin American/Japanese cable for one that comes with the PS2 from your own country.

Its the one with the 8 end (2 holes).

The transformer states 100-220V so its universal. I put 220V in both my Japanese and American Ps2's with no problems at all.

The 90000 slims have a built-in power supply...

if its driving you that amd just buy a stepdown then that way your sure itl work .
