Will regular jamma games work on JVS cabinets (Net City, etc)

Post by mikehaggar »

Hey everybody....quick question....do regular jamma games work on JVS standard cabinets, such as Net City, New Net City, Naomi Universal, etc.?

Or do I need to buy some kind of converter?

First, you need a cab with a multisync monitor. The Naomi Universal cabs comes with a 31khz only (VGA) monitor which is not compatible with 15khz (CGA) JAMMA PCBs (you can buy a upscaler though, XRGB2 is the best when it comes to compatibility). The Net and New Net have multisync monitors but either way you'll need a JVS to JAMMA adapter also. I don't know which one is the best but they look like this: http://www.starcab.net/product_info.php ... anguage=en
