-Just as the topic says.........Erm, I mean, have you ever had a reocuring dream where you're throughly enjoying the ultimate game that dosen't quite exist in real life? It's strange because I seem to remember only some elements of the game upon waking up, yet only for three particular games. One is an SRPG, Tatics Ogre style, with battlemaps of about 70 charecters. One is an odd mix of Star Ocean 2 and Saga Frontier atmosphere and fighting (thought much more fun than the later.) The last distinctive one is an old nintendo run'n'gun game that mixes Metroid, Zelda, and Metal-Slug! It's morso strange because returning to any of those games in another dream, they are just sitting there on pause...
-The great thing is that I just noticed that when I think about a particular boss or hard part of Gradius V, just going over it in my head, complete with the silly techno boss music, seems to put me right to sleep into one of those dreams! Perhaps it's like counting sheep, only counting the bulletspam, or lazers, or options, etc.
(I also seem to remember this Star-Control themed vert Shmup, where I was piloting an Ur-Quan Dreadnaught against a massice space platform, ala star soldier/astro blaster. I guess I didn't like that one, as I seem to only remember getting my ass handed to me and have only had the dream once.)
