BTW JoshF, I loved your Metal Slug videos on 2Dgaming.net. I'd never seen the game played at such a high level! Nor even considered playing the game for score. Awesome stuff.

Sorry about the constant server outages during the past 10 days. The host kept promising it would be fixed, but it didn't happen.

Today my patience ended and I moved the forum to another host. I used last night's backup, so nothing was lost.

I just finished setting up everything a minute ago. Check it out! Same address, different host

That was only for 2 hours after setting it up. Now it's running fine, and it seems to be faster than it was at the old host.

What the hell kind of shitty hosting and domain services do you use? Your poor forum has been like non-stop issues since you first announced it, and if you're actually paying money for these services I'd totally cancel and demand a refund.

The domain costs money, the webspace is free. URL forwarding was automatically disabled a few hours ago by the domain host because the current host of the forum's webspace was listed in a spam database today. Until it is delisted, forwarding from 2dgaming.net to 2dgaming.site90.com/forum (where the forum is now) doesn't work, so you have to go to 2dgaming.site90.com/forum directly.

Ceph, if you need a free reliable host for your forum I'll gladly offer you space on my server, as I have unlimited storage and bandwidth with my hosting plan. Setting up the domain and all that would not be a problem at all for just a forum. PM me if you're interested.

Update: I found a way to make the 2dgaming.net URL properly redirect to our new webhost. So, like before you can simply use 2dgaming.net and don't have to remember the complicated new domain name.

Yeah, the old host was terrible. But the new one seems to be very reliable; I don't think there's been a single minute of downtime since we moved there a month ago.
