TATE orientated console SHMUP's

Because I have a vertically orientated arcade cab in my room, I want to have a list with Tate orientated console shmup's (I already made all necessary connections to hook up a DC, a Saturn, a PSX and a PS2 to my cab).

I will edit this list if somebody has additions.

I know, it's not much of a list (yet), but it's a start.

Update Thanks to some replies the list has grown a lot. Very usefull. :P Perhaps someone could also list some XBOX Tate SHMUP's.

Update 2 Thanks to Kiken and others I added some XBOX and XBOX 360 Tate games.

Shikigami no Shiro III can be switched to TATE as well. It makes me wish I had a compatible TV. Laying on my side while playing makes me dizzy.

I haven't been here for a while, so I'd like to know, was Trigger Heart Exelica confirmed for PS2 release or not?
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

i dont see any option in shienryu saturn (jap version). is this normal? really wanna play this in tate mode. :?
It is to us a sufficient body in which, fairies and it is packed and can group of play.

All of them, I think. I know the Wii version does.
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Yes, there is a Tate option. If you press the start button (insert coin), you get an option to go to the option menu by pushing the joystick down. The press the start button to enter the option menu.

Set the game mode to Arcade and you have Tate.

ok got the tate mode. but the control is yoko. anyway to change it?

There should also be a list of games that have Reversed TATE screens. Sometimes you flip the T.V. one way thinking the game is going to support that angle finding out that you have to flip it the other way. This happened to me for Under Defeat.

The Saturn versions of Capcom Generations 1, 3, and 4 (JPN) have tate options as well.

Capcom Generations Vol. 1: 1942, 1943 Battle of Midway, 1943 Kai
Capcom Generations Vol. 3: Vulgus, Exed Exes (Son Son & Higemaru are horizontal only)
Capcom Generations Vol. 4: Mercs, Commando, Gunsmoke

As a matter of interest, is there a general list of tate'able vertical games for DC?

Are there any non-shmups that are worth looking into?
