DDPDOJDFK- does that chain counter bother anybody else?

Post by Battlesmurf »

I love how the rest of the game looks (DFK's green helicopter looks NEAT)- but that hit counter takes up a solid chunk of the screen (even towering over the "warning" message that pops up before bosses.

Does anybody know if there's a way to turn it off? (I'm not a board owner (yet?) lol..and odd as it sounds this may persuade me.

Sometimes I wonder what the two-player game would be with Daifukkatsu. The hit counters would literally take up HALF the screen! That, or the two hit counters would eventually become so big it'll overlap each other.

Or maybe they shrink the counter size for two player games. I'm not really sure.

Unrelated, but I found it amusing to stumble into this topic immediately after reading this (plus the replies) short article about User Interface issues in FireFox on the Mac...

Whoever wrote that article needs to get off of the computer for a while and take a nice walk outside.

NO ROUNDED CORNERS??? THAT DOES IT!!!

Sometimes I really hate fellow Mac users, they care for petty details way too much. Sometimes I wish I could rid of that bleak window gray once and for all and replace it with a screaming green or something. I´m tired of that metal look...

EDIT: Dear god I read way too many of these comments.
