So here it is, the 'In the Hunt' hi-score thread.

Rules:
- Default settings
- One credit only
- Auto-fire allowed

I don't think there are enough differences between versions to warrant separate tables. Maybe I'll do it if there are enough entries in the future.

It was a no-miss run. I wasn't playing for score at all, so that one is very breakable.

I'm currently trying to beat PlasmaBlooD's score and found out some interesting stuff:

1) On the final form of the last boss, when you go to the front of the missile, destroying the tip will give you 100k points. If you don't hurry up, it'll blow up by itself, giving you no points.

2) Destroying the final boss when you're in front of it will give you 100k points. Destroying it while you're on its back, however, will give you 300k.

3) Most important discovery: there's a good ending!



The background and the ending are different, and on the stage part of the scoreboard, it shows END instead of PRO.

I have no idea how to trigger that ending though.

On this run I tried to milk as much as possible. Even so my score didn't improve as much as I had hoped.

Anyway, PlasmaBlooD doesn't have to post pic anymore

Oh, and now I'm fairly convinced that the good ending is related to credits used. If you reach the last form of the final boss using more than 1 credit, you get the good ending.

I get that this game isn't popular for scoring, but more people should definitly play it.
