Why no Jamma Key on Jamma adapters?

Post by neorichieb1971 »

I'm looking for Bubble bobble adapter that has a key and I can't find one. Doesn't anyone find it weird that no key hole exists on these things?

Does anyone on these forums make adapters?

Help appreciated.

Thanks,

Richie.

Not the right help, but the heys pretty easy to make- two chinks with some kind of tough snips and a needle nose plier would rip out a chunk really easily.

Yeah people often leave them off because most cabs don't have the key.

Without that crucial key though, it makes it easier to plug in the Jamma harness in wrong and make your precious and expensive PCB "go up in smoke". You've been warned.

Plus some genuine produced Jamma PCBs aren't keyed anyways. But it's more likely that bootlegged PCBs aren't keyed as well. ^_~
